Today I am bringing a recipe you have never seen before. These are best muffins of all times!! Who wouldn’t love double chocolate muffins, which have a dark rich chocolate flavour and chocolate chips in every bite? What if I say I will add rich and creamy cheesecake to it? The best of both worlds together? Double the fun, double the taste! Isn’t it like hitting a jackpot of flavour?? Yes!! My recipe is going to be just that! I will not say, hope you enjoy it!! But I know, you will relish this recipe of mine!!

For Double Chocolate muffins batter
- All-Purpose Flour: 1 Cup
- Cocoa Powder: 1/2 Cup
- Baking powder : 1 tsp
- Butter: 1/2 Cup
- Vanilla Extract: 1 tsp
- Sugar: 1/2 Cup
- Brown Sugar: 1/2 cup
- Eggs: 2 nos.
- Milk: 1/4th Cup
- Chocochips (50% dark) : 100 g (about 3/4th cup)
- Salt: 1/2 tsp
- Cream Cheese: 1 Cup
- Heavy Cream: 1/2 Cup
- Powdered Sugar: 1/3 Cup
- Vanilla Extract: 1 tsp
- All Purpose Flour: 2 tbsp
There are two parts to this recipe, firstly, the Double chocolate muffins and secondly the cheesecake part. So let’s start with making the Double chocolate muffins first.
For Double Chocolate Muffins:
Sieve all the dry ingredients(flour, cocoa powder and baking soda) together first. Not many people are aware that the purpose behind sieving the flour is we try to make it light and fill in some air in it. it is also to ensure that baking powder is evenly blended in the flour.
Blend butter with white sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract and salt until it’s light and fluffy. Add eggs to it and blend it again.
Now, gradually add dry ingredient mix and milk alternatively and fold it with the help of a spatula. Keep folding till all the flour and milk is incorporated evenly. Finally time to add my favourite ingredient (I think yours too!!) to the batter, i.e. Choco-chips. Mix it well and keep it aside. Till we get the cheesecake batter ready.
In a large mixing bowl, add cream cheese and fine granulated sugar. Now blend them. Make sure that cream cheese is at room temperature while blending. Blend it till it is smooth and even in texture. Now add heavy cream and Vanilla extract to it. Again blend it well. Now sieve in the flour to the batter and mix well. Now your cheesecake batter is ready.
Add a scoop of Double chocolate muffin batter into cupcake moulds, with the help if a spoon try making a dent in the batter and pour about 1.5 tbsp of cheesecake batter. Now bake it in a preheated oven for 10-12 minutes at 180 degree Celsius.
Your Cheesecake chocolate muffins are ready to be served! You can serve them fresh Hot or cold.. with coffee or just like that!! They will always taste amazing! It is a complete indulgence you will not be able to resist. So try this recipe today!!
